1. Purpose.
The primary purpose of decorations is recognition of acts of heroism performed and outstanding services rendered which were above and beyond that normally expected and which distinguished the individual or unit among those performing similar acts or service.
2. Recommendations.
Recommendations for awards of decorations may be initiated by a Squad Leader and above via Forum PM. Recommendations should be submitted as promptly as possible after the act or service. Recommendations should meet the following conditions:
- Be based upon known facts and include, if possible, the rank / names of at least two eye witnesses
- Contain a complete and detailed description of the act or service including dates.
- Be submitted in such detail that HQ may determine whether or not the act or service meets the requirements for the award.
3. Posthumous awards.
No posthumous awards will be made for any reason.
